The Parkinson’s Outreach Association would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to all those who participated in our 5K race and 1 Mile Fun Run at beautiful Cascades Park on Saturday, January 27, 2018!!  We had over 200 people in the 5K race, and over 50 in the 1 Mile Fun Run!

 

Held each year in January, the Tulip Trot 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run raises funds for the Parkinson’s Outreach Association (POA), supporting our mission to help people with Parkinson’s disease and their family, friends and caregivers. The race loops through the beautiful Cascades Park in Tallahassee on the last Saturday of the month. Participants can choose between a recreational untimed 1-mile fun run, walk or roll (8:30 a.m. start) and a chip-timed 5K course (9 a.m. start) certified by USA Track & Field (USATF). Early Registration (ends January 12): $15 Long-sleeve performance tee option $10 No tee option Late Registration (after January 12): $20 (Long-sleeve performance tee is NOT guaranteed after January 12)

In accordance with USATF-certified race rules, awards will be presented in numerous categories. Awards will be announced following the conclusion of the race for the following categories: Overall Male and Female Masters Male and Female (age 40-49) Grandmasters Male and Female (ages 50+) Male and Female 3 Deep in the Following Age Categories: (14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+)
